Let me start all over. I have a 1982 Toyoto Celica GTS with live axel.
I have about 63K miles on the car. 10K miles ago, I had replaced the
stock tire for a set of 235 60R14 Goodyear Eagle GTs. I had discovered
that the Goodyears have a much softer side walls than the stock Bridgestone
225 60HR14 Potenza therefore resulting in a slower respond from the tires.
Owner manuals recommends 26psi for the stock tires, with the GYs I had raised
it to 31 psi in an effort to stiffen up the side walls for quicker response.
Please give me the pros and cons of my action. Everyone welcome.
With the new tires, I had also noticed their liking to track the car in
tire grooves on the roads left by trucks. It gets pretty annoying sometimes,
not to say scary when you are going 10/10 on a winding road. It almost
feels like you suddenly get a nice dose of understeer  or oversteer when
you don't need it. Any recommendations on that one. The stock tires
has less of a tendencies to do that, but, it happens occasionally.
The alignment and balance of the tires had been check three times
with two reputatable shops, and everything is to spec.

I had also replace the stock struts and shocks with KYB gas struts and
shocks. It improved the ride and handling quite a bit, but, the car
stills feels floaty at times. I also noticed more body roll ever
since I got the new tires. Anyone out there have any suggestion
for me? I know the car does have 63K miles on it, so, a lot of
parts probabaly needs replacing for it to get back its new car
feel and handling. All suggestions and recommendations are welcome.
