I keep my bicycle in the basement, and have to carry it up and down a tight staircase. It seems like just the merest touch of the black bicycle tire (or my red grab-ons) against the (white) walls leaves a smudge. Before my housemate (who just had the place repainted) kills me, I'd like to know how to remove these marks. I don't know for sure what kind of paint this is (I don't really want to ask my housemate and draw it to his attention), but a couple cans in the basement say "vinyl acrylic latex flat paint", although it looks like "ordinary white" to me. Any suggestions? Don Libes {seismo,umcp-cs}!nbs-amrf!libes
