The story is like this: Bill Willingham was hired to do FLAGG!, and he did indeed start doing the art for his first issue. But somewhere along the line, Comico reached and agreement with him about continuing THE ELEMENTALS, and he naturally jumped on that, abandoning his FLAGG! duties. This is what put the book behind schedule. Staton was then signed up, but only for three issues (one storyline). Mark Badger is slated to draw it after Staton, but I don't know if he's a "permanent" artist or not. I hope not, as I'm not that fond of his artwork. --- jayembee (Jerry Boyajian, DEC, Acton-Nagog, MA) UUCP: {decvax|ihnp4|allegra|ucbvax|...} !decwrl!dec-rhea!dec-akov68!boyajian ARPA: boyajian%akov68.DEC@DECWRL.DEC.COM
