A friend and I were talking about the current storyline in X-Men
and X-Factor and she came up with a real doozy which I am
posting since Reed alums can't post to the net.

X-Factor is a *mutant hunting* organization.  Moreover,
it is an organization in which *mutants hunt mutants*.  Never
mind that Warren and Scott and Bobby and Hank and Jean all have
the best intentions in mind; X-Factor *hunts down mutants*.

Now think about Rachel's universe, in which *mutants hunt
mutants*.  If X-Factor and Freedom Force ever got together...
Maybe nothing has changed.  Maybe Rachel's universe IS STILL
THE X-MEN'S FUTURE!!!  Especially if Freedom Force took over
X-Factor at some point and began by executing the original
X-Men.  Rachel's memories would be essentially correct. Xavier's
mansion would be next to go.  Except for Illyana's age at her
death, the events would correspond.

I think it makes sense.
