Don't blame posters if your software can't deal with the accepted formats for messages. (I'm tired of seeing Orphaned Response as a subject!) Seems like the 'turkey' here is either the author of notesfiles (for not updating the software) or those who keep using it when better and more robust tools are available. Note that I use an editor, but I don't make any special effort to delete 'garbage' lines, as they are inserted by the posting software after I compose my message. Notesfiles sites might end up having to build their own network if the keep using software that is inconsistent with the current versions and protocols. - Ralph Hyre
