Here's a question for other Love and Rockets readers.  Towards the
end of the Mechanics stories in issue 2 (and consequently, towards the
end of the color Mechanics mini-series) there is a scene that takes
place on a crowded street, in which an ugly-looking person (man?) pulls
a gun out of a bag and shoots someone.  It looks as though the victim is
a blonde woman.  Then in the next frame, Bernie Carbo is smiling while
reading a newspaper with the headlines "San Jo gunned down on street"
and "Rena Titanon leads revolution".  I'm confused; who shot whom?
