 The following paragraphs are a portion of a DC Comics news
 release I recieved December 14, 1985.


 MIKE GOLD JOINS DC COMICS EDITORIAL STAFF

 Vice President-Executive Editor Dick Giordano
 announced that Mike Gold will be joining the DC Comics
 Editorial department as Senior Editor, effective
 mid-January 1986.  His new responsibilities will
 include developing and editing new projectes.

 Gold was most recently managing Editor at the Chicago-
 based First Comics Inc., which he co-founded in 1981.

 Gold's new position at DC Comics marks his return to 
 the organization, where he worked as Public Relations
 Director from 1976 to 1978.
