My old answering machine is becoming decrepit, so I'd like to
replace it, this time with a combination telephone and answering
machine.

Does anyone out there have one of these beasties?  I'm interested
in knowing how well it works for you, what you think of its features,
whether it has been reliable, has reasonable sound quality for both
outgoing and incoming messages, etc.
