They're not as good as the ones you buy in good candy stores, but they're still yummy. Chocolate Truffles Ingredients: 4 cups (!) powdered sugar 1 8 oz. or 3 3 oz. package(s) of Philly cream cheese (softened) 1 tsp. vanilla extract 5 oz. unsweetened chocolate Toppings (cocoa, powdered sugar, crushed nuts, jimmies, etc.) Steps: Mix the powdered sugar into the softened cream cheese a little (2/3 cup) at a time, making sure it is well blended after every addition. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler and add it to the cream cheese mixture along with the vanilla. Mix well. Chill for a couple hours. Roll mix into one inch balls, then roll them in a topping. Chill. If you're adventurous, try substituting the liqueor of your choice for the vanilla. -- Chan Benson {ihnp4 | hplabs}!hpfcla!chan Hewlett-Packard Company Fort Collins, CO (303) 226-3800 x3892 As usual, HP has nothing to do with what I say here.
