If by "faster" you mean you would like to have your own recipe appear sooner, the best way to ensure its rapid dispatch is for you to put the troff commands in yourself. Even if you get them wrong, I can test it and fix it and send it out with a few minutes' work. Like everybody else on USENET, I have a full-time job, and the spare time to edit mod.recipes comes intermittently. If I have to put the troff commands in for you, it takes enough time that I can't get to it immediately. If by "faster" you mean you would like to have more recipes per week, then let me entreat everyone to submit more recipes. There have been only 5 unsolicited submissions to mod.recipes so far (by "unsolicited" I mean that somebody send in a recipe without me specifically asking for it). I've been beating the bushes getting my friends to send in recipes, but sooner or later those will run out. One thing I have been thinking about is to increase the rate of flow of recipes, but to fill in the gaps with my own recipes. I have enough to last several years. I really don't want mod.recipes to turn into my own little forum--it's supposed to be everybody's forum--but if people want more recipes, and if they don't submit more recipes, and if they don't mind getting bundles of my recipes, then I could set things up so that each weekend when the weekly recipe posting is made, if there aren't enough submitted recipes to fill the weekly quota then the posting software will dig into my archives and post stuff from there.
