I talked to a Marketing Rep from West End Games at ORIGINS last year. She told me that in the summer of 1986, WEG would be offering a new "version" of CE that was merely re-packaging. The basic game would consist of the current original game, plus the first two expansion sets. There will be about four (5? ...failing memory...) expansion sets in the future, which will be merely rebundled versions of the current ones. I specifically asked her if there was any point in getting the new version, if I already had the basic set and all the expansion sets. Her answer: "Except to replace a worn-out game, there'd be no good reason for you to get the new version." Rob Mitchell {allegra,ihnp4}!mtuxo!jrrt Es un entreverado loco, lleno de lucidos intervalos.
