Unthinking, I gave the stomach of the beastie a taste of the sting of the nasty weapon when suddenly, too late, I realized that I was inside the monster. The result?. "You hit the trapper with the cockatrice corpse --MORE-- the trapper is turned to stone --MORE-- you destroy the trapper!" I think that this behavior is questionable, especially in the light of the fact that if a cockatrice hisses at you from outside said monster both you and the monster turn to stone. Comments? Ideas? Suggestions? Or should we just forget the whole thing? This is one situation where hack does not punish what I consider to be the stupidity of the player with death. -- Ray Allen | "A thing is not necessarily true because a man dies for it." utcsri!ray | - Oscar Wilde as quoted in "Parachutes & Kisses" by Erica Jong
