Carl,

NOTE: [I have problems using the mailer with the news system, so I'll
post this here. Please mail resonse to me, if possible. I new to
the mail system and barely know more than how to edit a file for 
mailing using EMACS, so I don't even know my mail path. Hopefully
the VNEWS will send along with this article, as it appears to have 
done for others replying to me. Meanwhile, I will try to learn how 
to use the mail feature os as to not burden others with my uninteresting
comments.]

Can you supply me more information about the BattleTech game. I somewhat
interested in purchasing it as a Christmas Gift (spending my gift
certificate). I would be interested a review of its major features, 
good points and bad points to see if it is worth investing my money
and time on it and it's accesories (Scenarios and Miniatures). 

If I do decide to purchase it, I would be interested in a PBM game, since
I find it very hard to find other players, and would love to have the
chance to really play a game I've purchased. Please let me know the 
how the other responses are going.
