Is that true?  I could swear I saw the title "Episode IV: A New Hope"
at the beginning of the original SW.  I remember being quite non-
plused about this highly touted, state-of-the-art space opera starting
off in the middle somewhere.  I did not see the re-release, and I
saw SW only once (which was once too often, but that's another story).
