An angry mailcarrier stormed into the mail room midway
through his daily rounds.  Since his arrival was accompanied
by doors slamming, objects flying through the air and
language that isn't repeatable to a G-rated joke, his
supervisor asked him what was wrong.

Pointing to a torn and bloody pants leg, the carrier related
how he had been repeatedly bitten by a large dog of German
ancestry.

"Did you put anything on it?" asked his concerned
supervisor.

"No," the carrier replied.  "The dog seemed to like it
plain"
