Physics Department; Austin, Texas Lines: 36 Recap: Og has been miraculously saved from the Evil Janitor's Helper and the Coat of Arms by the Macrosparrow. Now the pair is out of the city attempting to find the land of six-foot tall chickens. Og and the Macrosparrow head toward the purple-tinted mountains to the west. The map they have is a good map, although the map ends at the mountains. Several uneventful days pass as the pair trudges along the barren, often muddy, road winding toward the pass through the mountains. Og and the Macrosparrow recant various harrowing tales they've experienced, each trying to top the other. Og, however, often gets depressed and tells more than he should about Ytremski and himself. All this time Og is wondering why the Macrosparrow chose to rescue him and accompany him back to the land of the six-foot chickens. Finally he can't contain himself. "Why did you rescue me and now accompany me to Samuel Brunt's land of six-foot tall chickens?" The Macrosparrow retorts, "I won't tell you." Before Og can respond to that, a large shadow suddenly appears around them. Looking up Og can see the huge, dark outlines of the Low Gliders, the vicious gang that sacks wayward travelers. The Macrosparrow is instantly in the air ready to defend himself against the Low Gliders riding on their huge vultures. Og is not so dextrous however, and is unable to fly. He despairs, wondering how they will get away from the ten Low Gliders. But suddenly he remembers something that could drive the Low Gliders away. . . . Wait for the Gang Bang . . . -- ~~ John L.
