          The Herpes Hop

Ra ti ta ti ta ta
Do the herpes hop.

Herpes is a virus
It comes in two kinds
It has no bias
It's the virus of the times.

Due to promiscuity
It's in the headlines
So if you're into nudity
It's probably on your mind.

Herpes is the genus
That's one thing you should know
If lesions are on the penis
To the doctor you should go.

If a woman is infected
It's hard for her to tell
She thinks she is protected
Until the first spell.

You feel a little tingle
And possibly an itch
It's followed the the pain
This virus is a bitch.

There's herpes simplex one
You find it on your lips
But if it's number two
Look below your hips.

Either could appear
When you're under stress
They will bring on fear
And make your life a mess.

This virus may be latent
It hides inside the nerve
The symptoms will appear
If you are disturbed.

So if you are a victim
And the lesions start to pop
There's nothing you can do
But do the herpes hop.
