The most misinterpreted song I've ever heard is Peter Gabriel's "Games
Without Froniters", from his third album, in which he sings the words
"games without frontiers" in french. I'm not sure exactly what the 
french words are - I don't know french, and I lent the album to a 
friend so I can't look at the lyrics sheet - but everyone seems to 
think (and even argue) that he's singing "she's so funky now!"
