It is a type of story which is usually told only to a member of the opposite sex, at least back then it was! I don't know why I remember it; I guess we all have to be embarrassed by something... Well it seems that there were these four fleas trapped inside an upside-down jar. Three fleas were male, the fourth female. The female flea was bemoaning the fact that here she was, so young, but now she was about to die as there was absolutely no chance of rescue. Male-1 offered his condolences but said "Fear not, for I know how to rescue us from this horrible tragedy." Astonished that there could be a possible means of escape, the female flea said "That's wonderful. I had given up all hope! Tell me, how will you do it?" Male-1 said, "My dear, that's a special secret. But, I'll tell you what: Sleep with me tonight, and I'll tell you in the morning." After much thought, knowing she would certainly die if they couldn't escape, she conceded. Early the next morning, she roused the sleeping male and asked, "OK, let's get out of here now!" Imagine her surprise when Male-1 explained, "Sorry, I don't really know how to get us out. I just said that so you would sleep with me..." At this point, she is completely distraught. --Go into the same detail with all of the other fleas, but for the last flea, --the story ends... Astonished that there could be a possible means of escape, the female flea said "That's wonderful. I had given up all hope! Tell me, how will you do it?" --And *STOP* the story here. Your subject will undoubtedly respond: "Well, --what happens next?" --The answer is, of course, "Sleep with me tonight, and I'll tell you in the --morning!" ...Sorry
