It is a racing carriage. It has 3 wheels (looks kind of like a tricycle and a mountain bike combination). We are very excited about trying it out after the baby arrives, and my husband is even thinking of running a marathon with it sometime. I would like to know if anyone has had any experience with this type of carriage. For example, should we wait for the baby to be a certain age before using it? Is this type of carriage sufficient in terms of carriages (i.e. do we still need the more common type of carriage). Anyone have any safety tips? Do babies like going fast in them (my husband runs 6 minute miles on average)? The carriage is pretty expensive--somewhere in the range of $175.00 - $200.00. It looks very well made, and is supposed to be able to go over sand, snow, and dirt. Thanks Marianne Eagan ihnp4 druxp!druxq!eagan
