A friend who does not have network access is having trouble with a complicated
program using VMS REX Macsyma Release 305.  Under certain circumstances,
Macsyma issues the message "NAMESTACK OVERFLOW" and stops.  He cannot find
anything at all about "namestacks" in the Macsyma or Franz Lisp documentation,
and would appreciate any information anyone can supply about them, and how, if
possible, to reserve more room and prevent the overflow.

Please reply to me via mail.  Further details of the program can be supplied if
this would help diagnosis.
