I have a busted printer.
It's an EPSON RX80 connected to a Columbia MPC (IBM PC compatible).
One day it decided to stop printing.
Here are the symptoms:
1) The columbia thinks that the printer is printing.
   COPY <file>,PRN results in "(1) file printed"
2) The printer actually does print when in self-test mode.
3) The columbia is sensitive to the printer being on/off line.

It used to work just fine, nothing unusual happened (to my knowledge) to the 
printer or the computer that could cause this.  Do you have any suggestions on 
what might have gone wrong, before I start swapping things around?
