They are actually IDCMP flags. If you ``or'' in ACTIVEWINDOW, you get messages through the IDCMP whenever your window becomes the active window (message->Class == ACTIVEWINDOW). Similarly so for INACTIVEWINDOW. Look at intuition/intuition.h for more information. I was using these messages in IntuiScope, an intuition utility I am writing.
