That was my criteria for obtaining it. I wanted a small emacs that I could port and distribute... While I'm on (or near) the subject...I recieved some mail from David Conroy, the original author of the editor. He told me that the version I ported was "ancient" and that he has improved some things. I hope to get a copy of his most recient version and make it available in an Amiga version (if it offers substantial improvement). Cheers, George M.
