The ol' vt100 trick of ctrl-shift-@ or space doesn't do it nor is there a ``break'' key. Not having a break key on the keyboard (somewhere even if it requires a meta-key sequence) is a slight bummer (since many hosts use the spacing character as a flag to switch baud rates when trying to establish communications). If there is no way of sending a break key from the default keyboard, creators of terminal or data communications programs should remember to either provide sending break as a menu item or on a cuustom bound key.
