The software that came with it seems pretty good and the manual, except for a few typos, is exceptionally good. Nevertheless I'm having some minor recurring problems using it with UNIX (BSD 4.3). It seems to drop linefeeds (from time to time) while in vnews. ^U isn't quite correct in "vi" either. I have replaced the modem once already so am confident it isn't a defective unit. I have similar problems using the "vt100-128" program and VIPterm when @ 1200 baud, using the vt100 and VIP termcaps respectively. It may well be I'm doing something wrong. This is nothing a quick ^L can't fix but it is still irritating Is anyone else having these problems? Is there a fix? Again, it has helped me work a great deal faster but it is so good now that this minor irritant is really bugging me. Please mail any fixes to the address below. -- -"Daphnia Dave" Fetrow { ihnp4, fluke, tektronix, uw-june }!uw-beaver!entropy!fetrow :UUCP entropy!fetrow@uw-june.arpa :ARPA
