Why? Because as you scroll down your document, the text you're passing gets buffered up, filling memory. Then you go to do something, such as a font change, which would require saving 10 or 20 characters to undo. Does it purge the buffered text? No. It puts up a "Warning: I can't undo this" alert. Yes, Apple, there is a 128K Mac left out there, and when the bug fix is as easy as this one should be... Bart Massey ...tektronix!reed!bart
