my search in the WSJ resulted in zilch, so when digging for the truth I came
up with the following:

Apple Computer President John Sculley reportedly said last week that future
Apple products will use the AT&T Unix operating system.  Sculley made the
comment when he was questioned by reporters outside a Silicon Valley forum,
but the company refused to confirm that report. "It may or not be true. I have
no way of knowing," Apple spokeswoman Linda Merrill said.  anticipation is
building for Apple's traditional product unveiling at its Jan 24 stockholders
meeting.
