"TOP OF THE NEWS"

  Apple Computer President John Sculley reportedly
said last week that future Apple products will use
the AT&T Unix operating system.  Sculley made the
comment when he was questioned by reporters outside
a Silicon Valley forum, but the company refused to
confirm the report.  "It may or may not be true.
I have no way of knowing," Apple spokeswoman Linda
Merrill said.  Anticipation is building for Apple's
traditional product unveiling at its Jan. 24
stockholders meeting.
