Sculley made the comment when he was questioned by reporters outside a Silicon Valley forum, but the company refused to confirm the report. "It may or may not be true. I have no way of knowing," Apple spokeswoman Linda Merrill said. Anticipation is building for Apple's traditional product unveiling at its Jan. 24 stockholders meeting.
