Xenix on a 30Mb drive Message-ID: <669@dicomed.UUCP> Date: Tue, 10-Dec-85 15:59:40 EST Article-I.D.: dicomed.669 Posted: Tue Dec 10 15:59:40 1985 Date-Received: Thu, 12-Dec-85 04:48:34 EST Organization: DICOMED Corp., Minneapolis Lines: 14 I am trying to install Xenix on a 30Mb Univation drive and am getting the error message Too many bad tracks (sectors?) after 620+ tracks. I think I remember seeing a note on the net that this was a standard problem due to drives not being 20Mb in size and that there was a patch for this. This has been tried on more than one system. Can anyone help me out? Feel free to give me a call if you have the patch/solution.... -- Chris Boylan {mgnetp | ihnp4 | uwvax}!dicomed!boylan
