I got the dhrystone benchmark, compiled it and ran it. To my surprise I'm getting terrible performance indications. i.e. it is taking about 65 seconds for 50,000 iterations. I'm using the lcs command as supplied by lattice. This is supposed to compile with the small memory model. THen linking with links, also from lattice. Could someone who has used the dhrystone benchmark with this compiler please send me the source file you used and maybe some comments? Anyone else have any suggestions? As an aside, I tried the same source on an AT I have here and got even worse numbers. Neither machine has a 287. I'm stumped.
