Lines: 8 I have an IBM PC/AT running at 7.5 Mhz, and just ran a comparison of interleave factors. I found that an interleave of 4 gives the best performance, although 5, 6, or 7 aren't much worse. Anything less than 4 caused the performance to be cut in half. This was under the Venix/286 SVR2 operating system. Your (DOS) mileage may vary. Rick Richardson, PC Research, Inc.
