Those may well be the lyrics from the record, but apparently the first broadcast episode of the series had a different verse or two, which were subsequently sung (briefly) by Lorne Green (and others?) on the most recent Emmy show. They went something like: We got a right to pick a little fight Bonanza! If anyone fights any one of us, he's got a fight with me! We're not a one to saddle up and run Bonanza! Any one of us who starts a little fuss knows he can count on me! One for four, four for one, this we guarantee! The hills and the wills of the men who build Bonanza! Prove that it's true that maybe you can build a Bonanza too! There may be yet more verses... is there any way we can find out for sure?
