Lou Gossett, Jr. is amazing as the "enemy" alien of a species humans call "dracs." The movie meanders somewhat in its theme at the end of the film, and we get some spatterings of campy dialogue, but it still holds together. (3 out of 4) _Young_Sherlock_Holmes_ -- A blend of Arthur Conan Doyle's style with that of Steven Spielberg's, with some actually good results. Nicholas Rowe does well in his portrayal of the famous sleuth in his younger days, which is fascinating in both its premise and its execution. I felt there was too much influence from _Indiana_Jones_and_the_Temple_of_Doom_, but, even if you liked that film as little as I did, you should still find this movie all right.
