I don't think that it is civilized to adopt and eye for an eye policy and do it publicaly. I'm afraid that a lot of people will go to the hangings just out of curiosity and to get a thrill. People will be buying tickets to go the hangings before long. Some people might even cheer. Like the beheading in Europe of the 14-15 centuries. Should children also be exposed to such shows?
