Message-ID: <153@slovax.UUCP> Date: Fri, 13-Dec-85 14:44:53 EST Article-I.D.: slovax.153 Posted: Fri Dec 13 14:44:53 1985 Date-Received: Mon, 16-Dec-85 05:34:21 EST Organization: R & D Associates., Tacoma, WA Lines: 18 Xref: watmath net.periphs:945 net.wanted:7762 I just purchased a JUKI 6100 printer and so far like it a lot. The manual tells me that I can boost the RAM buffer from 2K to 8K by adding some cheap RAM chips. However, the manual doesn't tell me how to get the cover off! I found so far the four latches in the front corners of the cover and the two screws under the carriage. First question is how do I get the carriage out or out of the way so I can remove the two screws? Also are there other hooks, switches, etc. that I should be aware of? As I purchased the unit via mail order, the vendor is not very cognizant of these technical details. Please send answers to: ...decvax!uw-beaver!tikal!slovax!ira Thanks...
