I've had lots of mutt cats, so I'm not looking for general care and feeding type info. What I'd like to know is specific stuff about temperment, COST (I hear they're rather expensive), life expectency (pure-breds are often shorter lived than mutts), and any other useful information for a first-time pure-bred owner. I'm thinking about getting an Abyssinian for my daughter and me to share. Would it be happier if I got two. I work all day and my daughter is in school. The cat(s?) would be alone a lot. As cats go, are they pretty easy to train (PLEASE don't climb my curtains, kitty!) How can I contact a reputable breeder? I don't want the cat(s) for show, I just want it/them for a loving pet. I'd also like to know if they make good indoor cats. I live in an apartment near a busy highway and train tracks. I'd rather not let them out at all if I thought they could stand it. Any word on that subject? Please answer by mail and I will post a summary of the information. Thanks in advance. -- Sarah E.
