Lines: 28 Xref: watmath net.pets:1389 net.wanted:7827 I hate XMAS! My bird, Kelly, passed away tonight. Kelly was a very well behaved Grey Cheeked Lovebird (a.k.a. Pocket Parrot). She naturally loved people, would sit on your shoulder, climbed anything. She was so tame, I built an open stand for her, and she had the run of the house. She would take walks outside with me; I never had any fear that she would fly away. I guess I was too permitting, because I came home to find that she chewed through one of the strings of XMAS lights on the tree, and electrocuted herself. This bird was a gift from my parents last summer, and though I'd never had a bird before, I became extremely attached to her. I had even looked around local pet stores to try and find her a mate as a XMAS present. Well, now, I'd like to try to get a replacement for her. None of the local pet stores had anything but Parakeets, big Parrots, and Cockatiels. Kelly was 7 inches head to tail, kelly green with a blue crown and grey cheeks, and orange under the wings. As I recall, my parents paid around $200 for her. Her personality was priceless. If anybody knows where to get such a bird, could you please write to me at: ihnp4!castor!rer Thanks in advance.
