Blast!

Such tempers and such fury can but reveal
The storm within --

Gales and thunder, and such
Great clouds!

All ships tossed, some broken
Upon the shore.

Thunder and lightning!
Gusts and Waves!
(Does it not end?)

Slowly it seemed and then all at once
Clouds broke
Lightning gone
Thunder rolled away.

The waters trickle back to seek their level,
The Sun shines, warming and drying us all.
What is heard is not in hearing.
Peace settles.

Calmness and radiance; warmth and light.
The storm ended.
