There is a small company in Germany which produces some plastic parts to glue under the cars which will accept the 'heads' of the Roco close-coupling system. A friend of mine used it and told me sometimes it is easy sometimes more difficult depending on the car and its manufacturer. There are several companies in Germany which have a uniform mounting system for the coupling-heads: Fleischmann, Roco and Lilliput. Others will follow to this (i think) european standart, but one never knows about Marklin. It's up to the user whether he/she uses close-coupling heads of Roco or the new close-coupling-system of Fleischmann or the standart Marklin-type or whatever. Juergen A.
