My own reports are spotty, observations rather than true measurments. This is partially because the type of skiing I used to do (snow hydrology) and the requests are more X-C oriented than downhill (which I still do). X-C requires a bit more information about the weather, waxing, iciness, and so forth. I don't have the time to collect data by phoning resorts since we cannot "justify" this on the basis of "weather" reporting.
