Maybe we ought to start net.singles.red.only, or is that too elitist? :-) At my alma mater, a few of us attemtped to form ROFNAR (Redheads Organized For No Apparent Reason). We never set any real goals or anything like that; it was just kind of cute to be in a crowd where you didn't stick out, and it was an opportunity to meet some other people you wouldn't have otherwise. Even when we subdued the separatist and/or subversive "orange" splinter group, ROFNAR didn't last too long. Some might say it was because of more lenient admission standards in the final weeks; red highlights were often enough. We also didn't check for dyed infiltrators :-) Anyone for a net.chapter? But, since this is net.singles, some relevant discussion: Being a young redheaded male, I have taken note of the fact that over 90% of the complements I get on my hair come from women at least 15 years older than me. Has red gone out of style with the current generation, or are MOTOS in my age group just too intimidated/shy to come on like that? I've never had my hair commented on by a brand new acquaintance; the two complements on my hair from my age group this year were from someone just passing me in the street, and from someone I already knew pretty well. Is this significant? Ken Kaufman (uiucdcs!kaufman) "Redheads of the world unite! You have nothing to lose but your locks!" - Founder of the Reds
