Al Harris (the Fridge wouldn't have played a down this year on defense
if Harris signed) and Todd Bell (safety).  I agree they are fine as they
are but they would be even better (on paper) with those two guys.  I am
quite sure that Bell was an All-Pro last year, and if Harris wasn't, he
was awful close.

It didn't look that way at Stanford Stadium on TV from Chicago.  I also
talked with a friend in the Bay area on the phone that day.  He may have
been pulling my leg (80 below can make 32 degrees seem like a tropical
paradise).
