I have seen at least 4 or 5 books that seem to fit my requirements, but most are too overflowing in details to easily determine if they really fit my needs. I thought that I would get the consensus of the net before I invest the in such a book. My requirements for such a book are (in priority of importance): o Must be up to date and accurate (i.e. you can rely on the just about everything it tell you). o Must cover all major European countires. o Must serve as good guide to cheaper hotels, inns, places to eat, best ways to travel between countries, etc. o Should serve as guide to customs, cautions, 'must know' things, etc. for each country that it covers. o Should provide general touring information for countries that it covers. Got a suggestion? Please post or sent me mail. Thanks. ---------------- | Steve Rosen | Siemens Research and Technology Laboratories | Princeton, NJ USENET: adrvax\ ihnp4 | princeton |-->!siemens!gypsy!rosen topaz | vrdxhq/ ARPA: siemens!gypsy!rosen@TOPAZ
