Scott version of Dickens' Christmas Carol, and there, playing the young Scrooge, was Turlough. It seemed that the young Scrooge had some of the same nastiness that I hated in Turlough. To forestall questions: I think that the Doc's sidekicks built up to Leela, who was the greatest, and went downhill from there (with late Nyssa as a short-term reversal of the slide). K9 doesn't count; I like him anytime John Leeson did the voice. Is it my imagination, or did the BBC give the Doc younger sidekicks as a reaction to the age of the viewers? --Alan Wexelblat -- WEX@MCC.ARPA ...ut-sally!im4u!milano!wex
