Fortunately, I did see this episode.  Brooke went home to get some notes
that she left behind at home and found Gile in bed with Salonge.  She looked
in the door and her mouth dropped.  She turned and left quietly, without them
knowing that she was there.  She went back to the station and informed Corrine,
her boss, that she could not do any more work for the day and requested relief
of all of her assignments.  Her request was denied by a stern Corrine, stating,
"If you do not do this show, your career is over".  She was scheduled to do her
talk show with Salonge that very afternoon.  On the air Salonge  began with
a cool response to Brooke's questions.  Brooke kept on reflecting back to
the scene of Salonge and Gile in her bed.  Salonge then began to put down
American women's way of dealing with and 'satisfying a man'.  Brooke just stared
straight ahead and would not say anthing.  'What's the matter darling? Has
a cat got your tongue?' cooed Salonge.
The next episode shows Brooke getting up out of her chair and glaring at
Salonge. She told her that she wanted Salonge to make an apology on air
to all American women for her comment.  Salonge sneered, "No, I will not!"
Brooke then slapped her and a fight ensued (yelling and screaming).  Brian
was then brought on the air and Brooke was taken off of the set and fired.
