Is there any documentation on the internals of the Bourne shell?
I'm trying to fix some minor bugs, but the code is rather large
and complex, and the comments are few and far between.  There are
classes for learning the kernel internals, anything for shell?

The version I'm working on is sysV.2.2  (thank you whoever changed it
back into normal looking C!)  I looked at 4.3, but it doesn't have
any comments either.
