It's called "HQ VHS" and is available now in the JVC models HR-D566U
and HR-D565U.  Both models are HiFi; the former has an MTS decoder in
the tuner.

HQ VHS isn't as dramatic an improvement as Super Beta, but it's all
they can do in the bandwidth available.
