Summary: 

I've had good luck with PD Magnetics T-160's.  If anything, they
work better than T-120's, perhaps because the thinner tape fits
over the audio (VHS Stereo) heads better.

The main problem is limited supply; T-160's are not so deeply discounted
as the 120's are.  What I'd really like to see is a T-180 or T-240 ...
