I think  it took him  awhile  to get  into it.  About a third of the way
through the article, I was able to imagine GK speaking what was written.
Maybe he had love on his mind when he started...

I don't think he'd let an editor change his stuff too much -- after all,
he's a best-selling author!  But then again, maybe he was too shy to say
anything.
